WTF - $22 PC Light Guns???
Numbski:
I'm betting the limitation on these things is that you MUST use a PC monitor at 22Hz, but dang - at $22 per gun, I'm tempted to try it anyway:

That's a Chinese importer. unless you are ordering 10-20, Shipping will kill the deal. I also doubt that gun has 'on the fly' calibration.

Wow! The web page says it's "extra accurate"! Awesome! :)
Numbski:
That site has a ton of GunCon2 clones too. Given the work I've put into making a reference implementation of the GunCon2, if I had the money to burn, I'd order 1 of each and do some serious testing. :)
I've started re-writing now that I'm more comfortable with bitwise operators, and I'm tempted to make a java-based SDL GunCon2 control driver, that way any SDL-based software on any platform would work, but time and such. :P

Retroblast did a Light Gun Shootout awhile back, however that article doesn't seem to exist anymore.
I can't remember how accurate they said this one was, but I do seem to recall them saying it only works with Windows95 (so 98 should be fine too).
I have seen some interesting looking guns on these Chinese sites, even one that looks a lot like ActLabs older VGA gun that they were selling for around $20 (but discontinued that one and now you can only get the one that costs around $100). Doing the whole bank transfer thing for payment always made me shy away from buying one. I just didn't like the hassle and extra fees, plus there could be import taxes on items like these too, but I can't say for sure on that.
These pop up on eBay now and then too. It would be interesting to see if they will work with XP and how accurate they really are.
