Where to find a big 4:3 LCD
Necro:
I'm looking for a 4:3 LCD now as well...you'd think a 20" wouldn't be insanely expensive...but it is :).
19" can be had for ~150-175, but 20" shoot up to the well over $250 range.
Debating just getting a 19...not sure how much the extra inch will matter. ;)
Blanka:
The extra inch will matter in a sense that you move from 5:4 to real 4:3. 19 inchers are never 4:3 with their 1280x1024 resolutions. 20 and 21 inch on the other hand is 1600x1200 and real 4:3
Todd H:
I'm compromising and putting a 25.5" LCD computer monitor in my cab. It's got a 16:10 aspect ratio, unlike HDTV's which have a 16:9 aspect ratio. I think when I measured it, it was like playing games on a 23" 4:3 monitor when you use sidebars (unstretched). That's pretty close to the 24.8" standard arcade monitor I was planning on using.

Yes, this thread is about large 4:3 panels.
I've contacted Billabs (in Georgia) by phone, they will be sending me information about the Billabs BL26C0T you mentioned in this thread:

I was able to get the price - $595.00 USD presuming I heard it right (the connection was bad)
[EDIT] Looking at the site more, I'm going to guess that it's a 19"-21" 4:3 LCD panel with a huge bezel around it so that it will mount properly in a cabinet designed to take 25"-27" CRTs. We'll see.

Shesus. I can't seem to even find a 20" 4:3 LCD for under $360, which is a bit insane I must say...
