I don't know if they are feet or not.  Kinda looks like the star "dug in" to the field and that is the dirt that it pushed up.  I'll admit though, it does have a golden look to it.

it does look good, don't get me wrong, very polished, but I don't understand the feet, then again, i guess it has to stand on something lol

IIOIOOIOO:
It's a deformation effect on the texture of the field. Look at it as green, and you will see the deformation of the white lines from the field. The effect works better on the left tine than it did on the right.

Well, I'm not a cowboys fan, but if you're into them then I guess it's cool.  I would lose the deformation effects myself they look a little like green gumdrops.
