Well, as far as So-Cal goes, you could prolly get away with lumping Geology, Geography, AND Sociology together and get away with it... Then again, I think that only applies to Southern California...

Geology = study of Earth's processes and physical history

Geography = study of Earth's physical locations/land forms (i.e. where something is on a map)

Yes I am happy with iraqistan.  Its where I bought my wife.  I can confirm its existence.
