I just thought to myself, travel across the whole country?  I wouldnt even drive all over Texas to get something.

So I superimposed England over Texas, and England (not the whole UK) is basically the area from Dallas to San Antonio to Houston.

Considering I live in Dallas, and will be driving to San Antonio next weekend, and Houston the one after that, I have decided that your comment makes perfect sense!

Thanks for following on my geography journey!

England's small, but the tight network of roads and the fact we have a thing called 'corners', means even a 10-mile journey can take over an hour!

Yeah, Doug reminded me a few times that he was informed about the arcade machine's rarity.  It's hard to tell what some of these things should be priced at.  Here I thought Boxing Bugs might not sell at $800 but someone bought that one and it was underpriced!  I'm not making a cent off doing any of this so Doug is the one doing this: :banghead: after the many phone calls about Boxing Bugs.

I went down to his warehouse this past Saturday and not too many pictures this time around because we spent most of the morning sorting through circuit boards and plugging a lot of old cabs.  Some of these things were covered in dust since and not touched since 1980......and actually still worked!

Game was originally Defender that was converted into RoboCop.  Proof that you can get these cabs and cram whatever you want in there.  Whoever did the conversion didn't even bother get rid of the Defender decals on the side.

Proof that it was converted from a Defender cab:

Game works, by the way but my pictures of the screen sucked.

Buy it for RoboCop or but it to rip RoboCop out to restore an old Defender arcade machine.

R.P.D rookie:

Pretty dusty in there but I guess nothing some compressed air wouldn't cure.

There's a slight burn in the very center of the screen but other than that, I couldn't notice anything wrong with it.  I believe he had a small list of parts replaced on it.  This is the same monitor used in Boxing Bugs, which I never thought would sell for what it did nevermind it was reported to me underpriced, so you never know someone might want this.

Call Doug for the details on this part if interested.
