Elo touchscreens - 15" $70+shipping - Would anyone be interested?

Ok.  Just finished testing the monitors (skipped out of work a bit early today - I was getting a little anxious).  All but one work perfectly.  I have already called the seller and he said they would put one in the mail for me as soon as I sent pics of the damaged one.  The unit wasn't "damaged" per se, but was missing the touch glass altogether!  Oh well.  At this point, I have no reason to not believe them.

These are obviously pulls (although they stated that).  A couple will need some cleaning (just some rubbing alcohol and a cotton cloth) as some of the adhesive that holds the touch glass in place is smeared some.

I tested them with my laptop with the drivers from the elo web site.  The manual is there too.  In regards to the red and black wires that others have asked about in other threads, they are speaker wires.  Not sure if there's a built in amp, but there's a volume control on the right side of the unit.

I am out of town on Wednesday night through Thursday morning.  I will be getting some boxes tomorrow.  I should be able to send most of them out either Wednesday morning or Thursday night - worst case is on Friday.  Regardless, it will be earlier than I originally claimed.

Who's ready for a touch screen project????  :)

Goz:
Do you have any spares? I'd like to start a project and PM'd ya, but didn't get a response.

Lilwolf:
Goz, read back.  They did a group buy and got like 15% off.  But you can buy individuals from the guy for like 85 plus shipping.

Padstack, if you talk to him again, you might want to ask if he is willing to have his information given out to the group.  He might want to sell some outside of ebay to reduce his fee's...

And I still wish I could buy one.  I have the perfect project to use one...  sigh...

padstack:
Sorry Goz.  Wasn't trying to ignore you.  I was having some network problems and forgot to respond.  There aren't any spares at this point. If someone here decides to back out, you can work something out with them and I can ship to you instead of them.  So far though, no one has backed out.

As far as giving the guy's info out, he really doesn't care.  It's a company that buys large lots of surplus stuff and resells on ebay.  He's not real concerned about his costs b/c he doesn't profit from it.

I certainly don't mind giving his info out once this buy is complete (i.e. once I get my replacement) though.  It's possible that they might kick you a few bucks if you mention this group buy and say that you were just a bit late to the game.

Correct. It does have a little amp, it is the little circuit board mounted on the back, in the bottom left corner.
