their site hasn't been updated since September 2007.

The joystick page is even more ancient, being "as of September 7, 2005" ???

I guess I'll shoot Video Connect an e-mail and see if they get back to me.

Please advise if they respond !
It'd be nice to know if they're still in business.
They have the LS-30 wrench at a reasonable price of $5.
Ninten-doh:
Hey fellas. The "homebrew" method for creating the removal tool is to use a piece of wire hanger.
Here's a pic that member "ScottHH" did to show it:

Ahh, thanks Ninten-doh, I thought I had seen a homebrew method somewhere a couple of years ago when I was looking to get some.
Ill be able to get on and make some nice stainless steel replacements when I receive mine ;D
GAJoe:
That's awesome. I figured there was a method like this for getting around it, just like with the "special" tool for removing Ford car radios. I'll go make one of these up right now. Thanks.
UPDATE: Well, that was easy. I made one out of a paperclip in about a minute. Worked great. Thanks again.

Sorry for the late reply, guys. ;)
--- Quote ---One thing though ... I reckon you should ditch that flimsy piece of tin, and go for an industrial strength MDF wood control panel.

Well, the Sigmas are about the sturdiest super guns on the market, so a flimsy piece of tin, it is not. And, I hate wood, so that idea is out.

I used a 9cm wrench. Nothing fancy (at all). It's the kind of stick where you can reach the nut from the top. The sticks in an original control panel (at least one I've seen) are covered on top, and require a small screw driver to open up from the looks of it. Although I've not tried.
Now I need to find a spinner to play some Forgotten Worlds!
