http://www.flickr.com/photos/turbotuner2300/ Ok guys and gals new pics up on my Flickr account. Let me know what you think. It needs some TLC. I started to take it apart today so I did not take pic's when it was filly together.

I have loosened all the nuts holding the coin door in but that thing will not budge! Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? I am going crazy trying to get the coin door removed. I did not realize it would be that hard.

any advice?

I am leaving as soon as I get a call from the guy to go pick up my new project nintendo cabinet. Right now it is Popeye but I plan on restoring it on the outside and converting the wiring to jama for a 48 in 1 board to maximize space in my tiny room.

I just bought my DK JR cabinet almost two weeks ago to the day and I thought that would calm these "urges" here I am two weeks later going to pick up another cabinet/project...something tells me this is going to get alot worse before it gets better lol

I will post pics later and start a build thread when things get underway.

Wish me luck in bargaining guys

Thanks,

Adam

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

Well, the project part of it is actually the most fun.
I'm kinda sad that my project in near completion....though ecstatic at the same time.
Check out my first product, The Tone Ledger, a premium workflow tool designed for guitarists, bassists, keyboardists...pretty much anyone who enjoys using amps and pedals.

Cabinet had an almost brand new monitor in it. That made the deal even sweeter! Since I am converting the Popeye to use a JAMMA board I am going to get a new monitor anyway. The nice monitor from Popeye is going in my JR machine.

So I look at it this way....I paid $200 for the cabinet and $200 for a new monitor.
