thanks!

Here is a tutorial for using standard clear arcade buttons, but theres no reason it wouldn't work with the IIDX buttons.  Has good wiring diagrams and everything.

isnt there a way that i can do it using the NC prong on the microswitch?

Kajoq:
My electrical skills aren't anywhere near the level of the guy who posted that, So I honestly don't know.

You could try messaging him / posting on SRK though

BASS!:
they are in a sence just dual purpose light switches. Neither of them seem to be controlled by anything other then the switch you are pushing.  You just need to have the switch control the circuit in the lights. There is some simple lighting controller available somewhere, I know someones going to post when they see it. All I know about is how I would use the switch to complete the circuit, which would involve power running through it. That would invariably blow something up verrry fast.
