OK! Give me a few mins I'll track down exactly what you need to know.

Fozzy The Bear:
OK here are the default mame keys..... On the left is the function in Mame and on the right is the keyboard key that relates to it:
COIN 1 5
COIN 2 6
Player 1 RIGHT R arrow
1 LEFT L arrow
1 UP U arrow
1 DOWN D arrow
1 SW 1 L-ctrl
1 SW 2 L-alt
1 SW 3 space
1 SW 4 L-shift
1 SW 5 Z
1 SW 6 X
1 SW 7 C
1 SW 8 V
START Player 1 1
START Player 2 2
Player 2 RIGHT G
2 LEFT D
2 UP R
2 DOWN F
2 SW 1 A
2 SW 2 S
2 SW 3 Q
2 SW 4 W
2 SW 5 I
2 SW 6 K
2 SW 7 J
2 SW 8 L
NOW! Compare this list to the diagram of the Keywiz Max that I attached below... and you will be able to see exactly which button goes to which input.
The shazaaam key obviously connects to the one labled shazaaam, if you are using it. And your service buttons (again if you are using them) connect to the ones marked: Enter, Tab, Esc, and finally P is the pause key if you want one.
Hope that helps!

dude...ur the bomb :applaud: where did you find this info...
and on my copy there are two maps for the keywiz...whats the other for...
SW1,2,3,etc....these stand for the push buttons?? i have 6 so i guess i would only need to use that amount.
Can i use Coin 1 and 2 as just 5? or do i have to use them seperatley...i have also added a escape key to get back into the frontend...where would this fit in

Lurking on my HD and some of it from memory....

The other map is the default setting for the programable keyset... You program it using the Keywiz Uploader software and then you can access your own custom keyset, by holding down the shazaaam key and pushing left on the player one joystick. The custom keyset is then active instead of the default Mame keyset. To get back to the default mame keyset you hold down the shazaaam key and push right on player one joystick.

You will need them to be separate, some games expect to see separate coin inputs for each player.

Connect it to the connection marked "Esc" on the keywiz diagram.
