Wanted: Pink parts

Thanks for the replies!

I've seen Bellas - an inspiration for my little project, and where I got the idea to check out DreamArcades.  But I don't want to bother someone for a few buttons - though I can imagine having left over t-molding (they sell min 30').

I have also checked out LizardLick - they have a few options such as pink ball tops (ball only), and pink ball-top sticks (much more expensive than DreamArcades or a typical Happs Super).  The pink buttons they have are for metal cp's (I forgot to mention I'll be doing the std 3/4" wood - or maybe 5/8" + 1/8"-plexi?)

Oh well, maybe I'll just add more stuff to my cart at DA so I hit the $75 threshold...

Thanks again.

ids, if you are good with a router, the sanwa's will fit wood cp's. If you check out timoe or kaytrims sticks, they do what I have mentioned.

ids, I don't see the minimum order message on Dream Arcades site anymore.  Maybe their shipping person is back from maternity leave?  Either that or they weren't getting any orders.   :P

I have a pink balltop sanwa knockoff in the garage somewhere. Let me know if you would want it.

If you do end up doing a plexi top, You can use the snap in buttons pretty easily, even without routing.  Drill 1 1/4" holes in the wood, and 30mm holes in the plexi.  The wood is there enough to support the plexi and buttons, but is far enough out of the way to let the buttons snap in properly

Without a plexi top and just 3/4" wood you could use the screw-in sanwas, and route out some of the wood on the backside and screw them down.

The sanwa ball-top sticks are godly btw, MUCH more precise of a feel to them than HAPPs.  I grew up on HAPP and got a sanwa arcade stick a year or two ago, I would never go back to HAPP.  Worth the extra 15 bucks in my opinion.  Or you could get the cheaper JLW + pink balltop and it would only be ~8 dollars more than a Super/Competition

Heres a shot of my control panel with snap-ins + 3/4" MDF.  And No the joystick is not mounted above the plexi, its just an illusion from the all black paint + glossy surface
