Greylite in, seems dark ... yadda yadda

I just got mine installed and I thought it seemed a little darker than needed to hide the tv. Totally happy with the picture however (once I tweeked my tv's settings). I can't remember exactly, but I think my brightness went up a good 25% and I think I also bumped my contrast and picture slightly too.
Also, my actlab guns work fine through it (some report problems with this).

here's a huge tip...
if you are undecided on whether or not you want to use tinted glass...just go to a local glass shop and ask for a sample of whatever you're looking for...they will hook you up with a piece(7"x12" in my case) that you can use to look through...i was amazed at the real life differences...the colours don't bleed anymore...!

I had to turn my brightness up about 20%. I don't care if it wears the monitor a bit quicker, it looks so much better that it's worth it. This one has also been running for about two years with zero loss in image quality.
