How about a (Show us your gameroom) topic ?
FrizzleFried:
Yah, my garage is a 3-car garage (2 +1). I was lucky that the prior owner had made a wall between the 2 car side and the 1 car side. All I did was install a door.
Dazz:
How the hell do you guys afford to build game rooms like this? Even more so... how do you convince the special other to let you? My woman is tolerable with my 1 MAME cabinet, but is against me getting anything else. I'm still trying to convince her to let me bring my Gottlieb Road Race pinball machine, that my grandfather gave me 30 years ago, into the house.

Every man should have at least one room in his house that the wife has ZERO say in. As for affording it... well, it depends how important it is to you. When I finally move into a bigger house I am making it my mission to build a game room/movie theater in the basement. It won't happen over night but I don't drive fancy cars, I don't go on fancy vacations, etc. so I'll save enough over time to afford it (I hope).

I've always wondered since you started showing pics of your setup why someone would his entire garage into a gameroom. That seems to explain that mystery.
Here's the wideshot of mine on my half of the basement. It's an unfinished basement, but it's good enough for us at the moment.
The cab
The collectable figurines*
The pool cue stand I made myself as my first from-scratch woodworking project
You don't see these two things in the wideshot...
*Yes, they're action figures. If you think that's bad, you should see my "home office."
Edited because the cabinet pic actually sent you to a pic of my unmounted Cheers dartboard cabinet.
MameMaster!:
