I've had issues with laminate that has been rolled too long, too. Big sheets are definitely troublesome. I've found that some have so much spring that you pretty much have to waste as much as you use... when the contact cement is ready just slap a way oversized piece down, cut most of the excess, and then route the rest. Costly but with some of the pieces I've done it was the only way. What are you going to do on some of those inner corners where laminated edges are going to meet at 90 degrees? I'm thinking where the decorated trim pieces meet. There could end up being a slight gap there that most would not see but may bug you as the builder. |
