how to directly boot into a game?

i have a very old laptop that i stripped, and plan to build a dedicated pacman only bartop cab, so i was wondering if someone has experience into making mame boot directly into the a game , maybe no os just dos or somenthing like that, can anyoe help me. thanks for reading.

A batch file.... once dos and mame are installed modify your autoexec.bat to launch mame with the game in question.

but there is no dos mame anymore, let me search first, cus im not really sure...

..Or just put a shortcut to it in the startup folder of windows..  Eg see pic

no os sounds better, in that way the cab will have the felling of an original game... thanks anyway :cheers:
