There is a plugin for GameEx to auto switch the Ultimarc joysticks. That's all that is necessary to support the U360's in a FE. Not sure how you can say MaLa is the best FE for these sticks based on that fact.

Don't want to step into your who's FE is best discussion, but to my knowledge at least the MaLa plugin doesn't violate the GPL.

Okay I did some research and figured out what your referring to now. Your Ultrastik library is used in the GameEx plugin written by Oggalz.

I've posted your concerns to the author here.

BTW I thought I made it clear it was not a "who's FE is best" discussion, I hate them myself. I was pointing out that support for Ultrastik is not a unique skill for any FE and it's stupid to say a FE can be the "best to support" it. I'm very careful with my wording as to not attract "my FE is best" arguments

Just to clarify that didn't know other frontends supported the U360s. I just read that MaLa does and because I just assumed that was the only FE that did. I basically want to be able to select any game and have the FE also load in the correct joystick map for that game. I don't wanna be manually changing it every time I swap games. Is this exactly what MaLa and GameFX do?

Edit:  It's ok... just read more stuff in here which answered my question.  :P

I'm still having map issues any help forgetting about what front end to pic, I can only map one thing at a time and my test pattern remains so unless I phyiscally down click on the tab in the umapper.exe from ultimarc software, it seems to only map 1 of the maps instead of all of them ?

Unless I'm mistaken, you have the same question posted in three different threads.  One's dying in the main forum but there are two in the software forum.   It's going to be counterproductive and redundant so please refer to http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=74248.0 for my reply.
