Anyone have an assembly diagram for a Nintendo Donkey Kong 4-way/8way stick?

Actually, you derailed it genius.  The guy asked for a diagram of a nintendoh joystick so that he could discern if something was wrong with it, and you told him there couldn't possibly be anything wrong with it, so get over himself.

I don't have a diagram but from his description, his joystick is working normally. If he was missing any of the mechanism parts, he'd know it.

If the E-clip was missing, then the whole thing wouldn't even stay together. Same deal with the lower spring guide/plug. If the upper spring guide/plug was missing, then the spring would have no tension. It goes without saying what happens if the spring itself, or the shaft, or the base is missing.
