Is $50 a good deal for just about any "ol'" arcade game?
Wiibound:
I think I might get this one arcade game, honestly not sure if it's Donkey Kong or digdug (prayin for it to be DK) but apparently the monitor isn't working and just needs one thing soldered up (is it safe if you somehow discharge the monitor?). Haven't seen it yet, is this a good deal?
shardian:
Yeah, $50 is a good price for a generic jamma cabinet. You can't even buy the wood for that price hardly.
Wiibound:
True
I'm not sure if it'd be jamma though?
Wiibound:
How credible do you think this "just needs something soldered" thing is? I can solder.. tons of solder experience.. but never on a monitor.

At what price point should he be willing to cut it in half with a rechargable saw and mount it on the top of his car ? ;)
To the OP: When a seller says something to the effect that it is "just a fuse" or "an easy fix" or "one wire that needs to be soldered", you can dismiss that 100% of the time. If it were that easy, they would have already fixed it themselves to generate a higher selling price. (Having said that, I HAVE gotten a deal that really WAS just a fuse, but I wouldn't bet on that being the situation for you).
