Done!! Post build MaLa / LedWiz questions

1) I think there is a tab called "Game Lists" in the MALA option's window.  If you go to that tab, then you can select an emulator you already have defined and then add game lists (ie: Favorites, Racing games, etc...) to that emulator.   After adding game lists to my emulator, then I simply scroll through all the games in the emulator and add them one-by-one to the game list I want.   I believe I highlight the game in the emulator and then right-click my mouse to open the little popup-window and then request it to eb added into the specific game list.    If you do not want to add them one-by-one, then I believe there is a way to select many games at a time and move them into the game list as well by selecting the "Edit Game list" button located within the "Game List" tab.

2) "Frets on Fire" sounds like something my kids might like.   I need to look into this, but it will not be anytime soon, since I am working on another project at the moment and need to give the garage space back to my wife soon   :P     Anyway, if "Frets on Fire" can be started manually at the command line (ie: in a command window) by typing the required text at a prompt, then MALA should be able to start it for you.

(EDIT)
I downloaded the 1.2.451 version but get the same error described here when I start it up:

3) For Visual Pinball, the "Command Line" field defined in MALA should look like the following:

   -play -"%path%\%rom%.%ext%"

Note: The above text can be found in MALA by clicking the "..." button next to the "Command Line" field and then selecting "Emulator Presets/Pinball/Visual Pinball"

Are you using the "-play" option in your configuration?  ALso, do you have the dash(-) right before the full path (shown above)?

It has been a long time since I played around with Visual Pinball, but I "believe" if there are problems loading the table, then it might kick you into the Visual Pinball editor instead of starting the game right up.   You might try to see if the table can be played outside of MALA just to confirm it works properly (if you have not already done this).

Green Giant:
As for the issue with the screensaver, this is a known mala issue.  There have been many bugs with the screensaver that are being worked on.  Consider yourself lucky.  I have the ledwiz and I can't even run the screensaver with mala, it doesn't work at all.

Fab! Got it all working - the path was missing both the -play and the - before the full path.

Also found game lists in MaLa - so thats going to be cool...

Feels much better now - not so much a chore having to do everything - thanks guys!
