Implementing SkJukebox controls to MultiJuke (RELEASED)....

(1/2) > >>

Space Fractal:
As I said in previous thread, I have dedicated not to clone SkJukebox GUI, but instead I'm going to use the same controls (or so close as possible) as Sk-Jukebox.

Here is a unfinished primary screenshot, using Album View:

By now these standard controls would been used as I have seen on typical jukebox cabinets:
 - Numpad
 - Select
 - Clear
 - Delete
 - Back (here it only used when go back from QUEUE screen, which here can been "mapped" to Select)
 - Genre (direct select a another library, since I have seen a ROCK and COUNTRY button on a cabinet)

SkJukebox Controls not used:
- Skip Forward (I may add this)
- Skip Backwards (I may add this)
- F1 to F4 for album views (due to this a bit alternative GUI)

There are no "Show Album" screen yet. I'm not sure this would been needed, due to this smooth scrolling system I have created, so it not even needed at all.

I have also planning to support Joysticks/Trackball with onscreen keypad at the bottom or what I doing here to support them.

Other (controls) I should look on?

BobA:
How about 00 for play all songs in an album.

Space Fractal:
yep, it allready implemented....

Im going to use album 00 for options to choose library's (includning network) and so on, since there are no frontscreen.

Otherwice 00.00 would show the queue and XX.00 (or alternative just XX and ENTER without insert a song number) would add the whole album (if it enabled of course).

00.XX would auto select your libary without needing to press ENTER (this might been selectable).

Space Fractal:
Another work in progress screenshot in Attachment....

Here I have rotated the screen, scrolled a bit to the right (MultiJuke use smooth scrolling rather than page flipping).

Album 00 is added to select library and show queue (if more than one library is used).

Space Fractal:
not a big progress (which is because I have added UTF-8 document support and some various other minor things). Someone asked me about a russia language support of MultiJuke, which I came to priority highest (he do first have time to translate in the next week).

Otherwice the new GUI is going to work, but have still missing things, so I do not release it as beta yet... Here I have changed the standard colors with some other.
