Why not and who is "We"? The software board does not get near the traffic that the main board does. Telling someone to google it reminds me of the attitudes on the mame.net forum that just ceased to exist.
Many here would learn from the discussion that this question would have generated. The subject line was specific enough for those that want to get anal about such minor things can skip the post. I suspect that since you already knew the answer to this question, you'd be quicker to pull the trigger on such a response.
Trying to google the answer is ridiculous for this question because of all the old and outdated information that's out there. Granted the answer is out there, but what the heck is this forum here for? So we can tell them, "We know the answer, but that's too easy. Google it and find the answer on another forum somewhere else." The answer could be delivered here in minutes without spending an hour trying to sift through all the crappy websites trying to find the CORRECT answer.
Telling him to try all the emulators to see which one is best when all he is asking for is opinions on a discussion board is beyond me. Maybe I just don't get why people feel such responses benefit this board. :dunno

You took offence, maybe you should have re- asked your question rather than getting defensive about your computer skills (whats that about? few issues methinks). Perhaps your skills are great and your knowledge and attitude outstanding but I feel its time to end this before you start crying again.

We teach people how to fish here, we don't give them free fish. There are only like 4 cps emulators out there and only 3 that do neogeo and cps, mame being one of them, try em why do cha! Now if the question would have been more specific then we could have actually helped, but asking "which one is the best" is like asking what your favorite color is.... knowning someone else's isn't going to change which color YOU like best. :)

Asking which one is best = wrong question to ask
Asking which emulator do you personally rate to be more superior to the rest based upon hours of personal trial and error(sidebar: I know this is your personal preference, and I hereby declare to make up my own mind and take your opinion as such in guiding my own opinion towards my final solution of picking the correct emulator to play on my cabinet)= correct question
Got it! :laugh2:
(Since when am I not allowed to ask what emulator is your personal pick? I kinda was looking for opinions anyway :dizzy: )

Getting back on topic ....
I think that winkawaks ROCKS on my cabinets!
Compared to mame, the colours in particular seem to be more "true". I always enjoy games like the metal slug series and 1944: the loop master more when played from Kawaks than from mame.
Never tried Nebula though.
