Am I asking too much for this?
Zeno:
I had an MK III that I had for $350 on CL and I got no bites.
I'm in SoCal and there is enough inventory in the area do drive down prices. Great when you buy. Sucks when you sell.
I put it on Ebay and got $255. By that time, I was just glad to get rid of it.

So begins the experiment.

Relisted it this evening, in Collectibles instead of Games/Toys, at $500, with a picture of the game in action, and I even included an eBayism in the title. 8)

Hummmmm
Just clicked the link and read the post.
So much for "truth in advertising".
Honestly... the machine looks good, but it's obviously not the original cabinet. If I was in the area and saw the posting, I would offer you $150 and see what you say.
jfh2112:
I would say $350, which is where I started in the first place.
I also never claim that the game is in its original cabinet. As you said, it's painfully obvious to us that it's in a Konami cab. Anyone who's ever called or emailed about it before, that's the first thing I tell them. I did do restore work on it, I did replace everything I said I did, the monitor does have a great picture and there's no burn-in.
I'd very much like you to point out where I lied in my posting, because I just don't see it.
NightGod:
I suppose an argument could be made that you are claiming it's an original cab by using the word authentic in the description.
Seems to be splitting hairs to do so, though.
