Yeah no joke...I bought 4 Norman Rockwell pics from an antique store, $5/ea.  It cost me $600 to get them framed the way I wanted...good lord.  And that place was cheaper than Michaels even w/their 50% off special!  Forget building cabs I'm gonna start a framing business!

btw the arcade posters on ebay are cool thanks for the tip!   8)

I went the archival route, UV non-reflective plexi, black matte, stainless 4-inch frame. It's covering up an unsightly electrical panel.

By the way, I'll give you $5 for the Star Wars poster.  8)

For that price, you could have put the poster in a cheap plastic frame (which I did with my $30 Dragon's Lair and Space Ace posters) and had the windows in your room UV tinted (which I also did, but not to protect the posters).

You're being charged CUSTOM FRAMING costs.  That's the problem. If you buy a standard size POSTER, then go for a pre-made standard size FRAME.
