Anyone else try the LCD top gun with .118?

Ok I really hate to bring up this gun in this forum again lol. Actually mind works perfect I love it, that is with .117


.118, windows uses the gun for the mouse etc, in MAME it recognizes the buttons on the gun but will not recognize the X/Y axis of the gun, its as if its not hooked up.

I know they made some gun changes to .118, I have my settings set to what I did for .117 so I know its ready to work, just missing something here...

If its too much hassle Ill go back to .117 but now im curious... Im running MAME32 .118 btw.

I had some issues when I jumped to .118 as well.  Can you post the ctrlr section of your mame.ini?  This was my original post http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=70063.msg716984#msg716984 when I was having problems with getting them working the same as previous versions of mame.

The way it was explained to me setting lightgun_device  to lightgun will by default set lightgun to 1.  I found that I needed to set both.   So try changing lightgun_device first.  If that still doesn't work try lightgun 1.  I also have offscreen_reload and multimouse both set to 1.

Ok I will try it out in a few, but what confuses me is these arnt lightguns, its technically a mouse as far as both mame and windows is concerned.. so why wouldnt lightgun be mouse...?
