Adding Casters to a Dynamo Cab
TOK:
--- Quote from: Crowquill on August 18, 2007, 02:00:14 pm ---From the pics I'd definitely NOT want the weight of the whole cab resting on a panel that's held on with strips from the bottom. You'll definitely want your extra supports to attach to the sides. Either that or reinforce that bottom shelf from the top and mount larger casters on it.
Why do you want to add casters anyway? Do you move it around much? Just remember that the cab may move while you're playing it too.

My cab is on casters and it doesn't move, even playing two player games. Its on unpadded industrial carpet.
Although its a Dynamo, the bottom is different than the original posters. Base is actually flush. You may be able to find casters that thread into the leg leveler holes in the corners.

Thanks for the suggestions, I think I may try adding supports to the side panels, that or just not use wheels. I did attach some of those "magic sliders" feet in place of the levelers. The cab slides around pretty well now as I work on it (and its very level too). If I do attach wheels, I just didnt want them to be very visible.

Ooh I like that, I'll post pictures once it's done.
Thanks!
