New Product: NovaMatrix™ LED Marquee Light - GroovyGameGear

<< < (9/10) > >>

ARTIFACT:
I'm totally ordering one when I get around to ordering my Turbo Twist 2 Spinner + Token Knob :)

BobA:
Here is my shadowbox with a nova matrix lighting the marquee.  Sorry hard to get a clear pic with the flash off but it does show how bright it is under regular room lighting. The shadow box has only 1.5 inches of depth so the leds are facing down and I used foil to reflect the light out.   Not an ideal situation but good lighting for marquee.

AWESOME!  That's what I'm wanting to do with my marquees...

Did you write up any plans for it?

BobA:
No plans required.   Get one 40% off coupon for Micheals (craft store) and purchase a shadowbox that will hold your marquee.  Mine was 20 x 9.5 x 1.5 inches.  It was a bit tall at 9.5 inches but I used black matting to cover the extra area inside the frame as my marquee was only 6.5 inches.   Mount the LEDs at the top of the box pointing down.  Cover the backboard of the shadowbox with foil.  Attach a 12V power supply via molex connectors and you are finished.

That's all that is?  Nice!  :)
