True...but they ROCK for use as a standard res arcade monitor IF they have a scart input.  That way they effectively are an arcade monitor.

Of course I mean CRT TV's...

if you want to have gameex load at startup, that is as easy as placing a shortcut in the startup folder, however people will still see that you are running windows.  if you want to completely hide windows...the wiki is very helpful

by following these steps, you can pretty much completely disguise your system so nobody even knows it is a regular PC.  load your front end as shell and the desktop never appears at all.
i havent tried it with gameex, but it works like a charm with MALA

Jeff AMN:
Once I set Windows to 640x480, I didn't think it looked too bad at all. Sure, the icons and such were huge, but I only use Windows to launch my front end anyway. The games look spectacular on the set. I'm using a DVI --> Component adapter though.

Green Giant:
I found windows looks pretty crisp on my tv using component.  At first it looked terrible, but I changed the background and all the folders/font to a black-green design.  Now I can read everything without the white burning my retina.

SirPeale:
And of course, the lower your resolution, the better picture you'll see.
