Any Interest? WTT $300 USB Best Buy GC for Base Wii System

(1/4) > >>

Bloinkxp:
Hi all,

After trying for a month to get a wii from by local bestbuy (), I am going to give this a try.

So here is the deal.  I am looking for a "lightly used" Wii base system with all pieces.  I prefer a non-smoker trade since it will be in a non-smoking house.  Also, if you have any games or accessories LMK.  I have more BB GCs.

The cards: The cards are in $100 increments...that's all I can think off.

Terms,
I will cover shipping from the lower 48.  Any other locations and I will have to calculate it.
I will ship first to an established trader.

If I had no VC titles downloaded, I'd probably hit you up on that offer...

Where do you live?  Wiis should be available anytime now.  Are you checking your Sunday newspapers?  If it's advertised in any inserts, that store HAS to have at least some in stock that Sunday morning (or whenever the advertised prices take effect-usually that Sunday.)

hypernova:
And oh yeah...

One month?  Try waiting four months, when it was going to be a Christmas present! :o

Bloinkxp:
The thing is I am trying to leverage the Bestbuy GCs.   And Best Buy (the ones local at least) are notorious for only getting 5-7 at a time  :hissy:

Hypernova, what *would* you consider for your Wii Package?

I got a used Wii months ago on Ebay with Zelda, 6 VC games, 1GB memory card, and an extra wiimote for $350 shipped.  Nobody wants a used one since they're so new, so you get a big discount.  Seller told me he lost almost $200 on that sale. (!)

First thing in the morning isn't usually your best bet. UPS runs at different times in different places. Ask the Gamestop employees when UPS usually runs, and show up around that time, or shortly thereafter. If you wait until the next morning, chances are they'll be gone.

Just a quick note. I was at Target last week, and there were 5 (yes, 5) sitting on the shelf. Went back a couple days later, and they were all gone. Either people are actually buying them to play them, or they are buying them to stick on the (e)bay. If it's the latter, once the market gets saturated, and they don't bring a premium price anymore, you will start finding them in stores all day long.
