Happ Super Joy Stick Questions

(1/3) > >>

cowguy:
I have some happ joysticks and I have a problem,  when iI turn the joystick it can't reach far enough to hit the micro switch.  I have to put a piece of paper in between the metal arm and micro switch so it will be triggered.  Is there anything I can do to adjust this?  Also the actual stick seems to be kind of short, does any one sell long shafts?

Joystick Jerk:
If they are in fact Supers, you can always bend the little metal levers that press the microswitches outward/inward.

And Supers alos have an adjustable shaft length according to Happs ad copy. See if yours is set to the sort length, and adjust as necessary.

cowguy:
I have them set to be long, but the whole stick that comes out is only about 2 inches tall.

Joystick Jerk:
I assume you're mounting in a wood panel. Did you recess the stick when you mounted it?

And if you want longer shafts, just check out some of the dealers on the Buy/Sell subforum. A few of them carry long joy shafts, if I remember correctly.

cowguy:
I am using a cardboard box right now so I can learn how to some of this before I go to wood, and what do you mean by recess?
