Right here on the forums I think. Check the Buy/Sell/Trade section.

You could always hack a Nintendo or Super Nintendo pad.

I think most of the consolized systems I've seen use Sega Genesis Controllers.

What kind of case are you planning on using?

That's quite a bit of hacking. Did they basically just gut the controller and rewire it? Do you have a link on what they did to get it to work?

I ask because an NES/SNES pad serializes the inputs. The 1st Gen controller uses a multiplexer. Neither strikes me as friendly to the all parallel inputs on arcade PCBs.

Of course, I'm not sure about how PC10's interface to their controls. Might be serialized for all I know.  :dunno Isn't there an article out there about someone who hacked the hell out of an NES to play the arcade version of Super Mario Bros.?

asmida:
You are perfectly right about the Genesis/Megadrive Controller being multiplexed.  However, check out page 19 and on in this article.  It tells you how to build a circuit to decode the signals.

Great article for building a supergun or jamma test rig.

I'm not really sure about the Nintendo or Super Nintendo Pad, I just thought it would look cool.

I'm sure there are tons of other choices out there which would be easier.

Just my $0.02.

I can tell that it looks like a good way for most to go, to hack a NES controller, or in my case 2 of them to play the playchoice.  But the thing is me and my brothers grew up playing this and have always loved the joysticks that are on it.  Now I have to figure out a way to fit in a metal plate so my box will hold all of the orriginal top buttons that came on the playchoice, and the joysticks too.
