video emulation isn't 100% accurate message

That's pretty much what I did, bar the hi score patch...will give it another go!!
Once I've done that....then what do I do to remove the "message"

That is all. If you copy this version of mame.exe over into the mame folder that you normally run mame from, all nag screens are supposed to be gone. If you have a real old version of mame you may want to download the full install of the latest version so that the setup program creates the folders for you. Then copy your newly compiled mame.exe over the top of the old one.
Now if you want the high score function to work, then you must create a subfolder under mame called 'hi'. You must also download the hiscore.dat file and copy it to the same folder that mame is in. You can get it here:

ElSemi has a little more work to do with his Model 2 emulator to get Daytona working perfectly. However he seems to be very close.
