Panel Clamps from Happ. How to...

(1/2) > >>

rdowdy95:
I am going to be putting the control panel on the Arcade this weekend, and wiring some more stuff.  My question is on the panel clamp I am going to be attaching the spring loaded part to the inside of the cabinet side.  Now I know I will prolly attach the part to the control panel bottom first.  Then use those as my guides when I attach the spring loaded part.  Now once I am ready to put the spring loaded part after I line it up should I drill the holes for it about an 1/8" further down that way it will hold it more tightly?

Hopefully this weekend I can clean the room that my machine is going to be going in.

Good question.  I'd like to know the answer as well.

bump anyone use these before?

spacies:

If its what I think they are then try this:

Attach the catch to your CP.
Then put the 'hook' through the catch and using a marker pen, mark the 4 holes against your cab.
Screw the clasp to your cab.
Have a test and if you need too, bend the spring loaded bit to adjust tension.

If you screw it down too far then it may not reach the catch.

Well, thats what I do anyway.
Hope it helps.

Dowdy-

Did you hook these up yet?  I'm probably putting mine on tomorrow and would like to hear your results.

TIA
