Until the TV is sitting there in the cab, there's no way to say for sure. I would suggest not worrying about it for the time being, you can always add a bezel later if you decide it doesn't look right without one. :)

I'm in the process of gathering all my cab components. I already have a Toshiba 27" TV, with power return. So my questions is this:
Do I really need a bezel?
If I simply paint the case black, then cover the monitor/TV area with plexi (or lucite or graylite14...) and apply a bezel with graphics and instructions (i.e. from Mamemarquee) to the plexi, or behind the plexi (not sure which way is best), will the look be any different with or without the paper (or plastic) bezel?   :dunno

I think it's purely up to you.

If you apply the graphics behind smoked glass/greylite though I'm not sure how clear they'll look (I'd probably put them in front).  Also, depending on how you apply them, you may not be able to get the graphics off the lucite if you decide to change them (particularly the instructions) later.

Last thing, not sure what color your case is now, but if it's say silver sometimes the part that touches the screen itself is silver and can be tricky to paint (just make sure you cover the screen well with tape or something).

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll wait until I get to that point (hopefully soon)
I'm sure everyone knows how it is to think about this stuff all day long when designing a cabinet.
I'm just over analyzing everything.  :dizzy:

I'll be posting pictures when I start construction!
