Help! DVI --> Component Adapter Problem (pics inside)

ATI makes a dongle for DVI to component. It should be available on the ATI website.

Wrong type of connector so it won't fit its the same as he already has.

Although you could do this one instead

But you could probably make one yourself for cheaper or buy it on ebay

Yeah, that's the one I'm using. ATi says it works with my card, but it obviously doesn't.

Just to make it easier to follow here is a pic of the 2 connectors in question.

Jeff I think you'd be better off just picking up the correct vid card. I'm runnng a ATI Radeon 9600 with that same adapter. I think the card cost me $20-30 bucks on eBay.

Amazing pictre BTW, so much sharper than S-vid.
