Need a little advise on monitor mounting

Hi guys. I'm getting a shelf mount monitor next week

This might be sort of a stupid question but how do I secure it to the cab ?

Do i just use bolts to secure the bottom frame to the shelf in my cab or do I have to build a wooden frame to also mount the side frames as well ? I want to make sure its secure.

I was thinking it may be easier to build a frame like the one below since the shelf in my cab is flat and I need the monitor angled upwards. Other wise i guess I wold have to make an angled shelf in my cab

What do you think guys ?
Thanks

Anyone  ??? ??? ???

FrizzleFried:
I have seen monitors mounted only using the bottom of the monitor frame (4 bolts),  but the most common set up I have seen is a panel with a hole in it where the monitor slips through the hole and mounts to the panel at the four corners of the glass.   It seems most secure.

Thanks frizzlefried  :)

I have a couple of Williams cabinets and the monitors mount on a wooden shelf using 4 bolts.

On my Centipede cab, there is a panel with a cutout where the monitor fits through and gets bolted using the bolt holes on the side flanges of the monitor frame itself.
