What are the chances of you being able to make an INI file for MCM out of the names of those savestate roms...I could then OMIT the files, but as a rename...which renames them as .MCM. I could then take the .MCM files and move them to a different folder then rename them back to .ZIP Ta DAaaa... A full "savestate" games list...
Or better yet, if there was a way to add a "savestate" filter in mamewah.

Sorry, I don't know Mamewah - but it sure seems like there should be a way to filter. I know in AtomicFE, I can use the list of ROMS directly, and use that as a custom game list - I'm sure Mamewah could do the same. However, here is the mcm ini, just in case...

Kickass! Thank you. There ARE filters for mamewah but I believe they are coded in ...not something that can be changes via INI...but I am not 100% sure.
FrizzleFried:
Here is what a MAMEWAH "lst" file looks like...it doesn't look like it would be easy to make a savestate one manually....unless I made a seperate directory for the savestate games...then do a list generation on that directory...then manually take that "lst" file and insert it in my main mamewah directory........hmmm...

Game names would be nice... and I am looking at which games have had save state support ADDED since version .108 to determine if whether it's worth it to lose my hiscores to upgrade in order to support more games.
Botttom line is that when Gyruss supports savestates...my hiscores are going bye-bye because that is a manditory upgrade there.

Okay, save state support for Gyruss has been added in v0.111u5. I would not upgrade, however, until v0.112.
You might even hold off until they finalize how the laserdisc games will be captured.
