Can a Slot Cutting Bit be used in a Drill?

Also keep in mind, a slot bit in a drill will be very very dangerous.  Get the right tool and be safe.

I dont know if this is a good unit or not ( i just asked in another thread.)  But theres a router on sale at Lowes this week for 90$

Did my whole cabinet using the $59 bucks Ryobi at Home Depot.  Work out great.  And after you use the sucker, you will go on think why didn't I buy one earlier as there's so much other things I can do with it.  Picked up the slot cutter bit at Lowes cause home depot didn't have them available. 

And BTW, cutting plexi glass with the flush trim bit is a piece of cake, don't even need to sandwich or anything.
