anybody have one of these and do you like it?

We have those at work, haven't actually tried one myself but have heard lots of positive feedback from people who have.  I will say that it has a real nice feel and is extremely heavy duty.

I wouldn't say, extremely heavy duty. They are heavy duty, but only really in a home environment. They do feel like a quality product.

The only down side apart from the price of them (and this is still a huge gap in the market) is that there is still no stick of this quality that has a force feedback system. Which IMHO is a real pitty.

If Thrustmaster produced one, at a slightly lower price than this and with force feedback I'd be first in the line to grab one.

Bluedeath:
I disagree with you about force feedback, theese controllers are designed for flight simulation fanatics, thoose perople does not want force feed back (unless is afull moving platform) cause it interferes with precision (10 bit of resolution on the A/D converter is the minimum requirements for a serious flight sim joystick), try to do air refuelling in falcon 4.0 and you will understand what i mean, even they're the ream of every flight sim fan, sadly still needs some tweaking (replacement of the pots with Hall sensors is a common practice on these HOTAS) .

You are right about the construction is full metal, very rugged, but i would not sugges use in a public enviroment the handle is detachable and some1 could steal it or broke the connection.

thanks for all the feedback. One more question. Was wondering if games like tron and gorf can be used with this stick in mame? Happy Holidays to everyone.
