Sanyo 14" monitor hula
inspector:
The 14” Sanyo monitor has waves (hula) ~~~ going across the top and bottom of the screen (vertical mount), if it was horizontal, the sides would be doing the hula. I have recapped the monitor, changed the flyback, replaced IC601, replaced the width coil and checked for burnt parts and traces: none. I cannot figure it out, I have spent countless hours trying to. Any help would be appreciated.
grantspain:
maybe the ground is bad or more likely your transformer is too close to the yoke, what about the flo tube
inspector:
I moved the transformer 3 feet away, it is not that. I also switched transformers, same problem. The Sanyo monitor is the only one that has this problem, I connect all of my monitors on my work bench. I also have the frame grounded, no problems. Can you give me a little more info on the flo tube?
hammad:
I am no expert , but my suggestion would be that you should change your power supply.I also had this type of problem and it was caused by power supply.
inspector:
The transformer is the power supply to the monitor, which I said had been changed. If you mean the game power supply, I already had changed that also.
Thanks for the input.
