yoke impedence info needed
« on: November 24, 2006, 01:30:14 pm »
o.k guys i am helping someone out with an ongoing problem and we have finally got to the bottom of the fault.
the yoke has had some wires removed at some point :banghead:(obviously to try and match another chassis),now the wires are still there but they are hanging from the yoke.
unfortunately this monitor is about 5000 miles away so i can't see it and the guy does not have access to a camera
my question is does anyone know what the yoke impedence of the vertical and horizontal should be on the chassis
tube-samsung A48KRD82XO2
chassis- kortek ktm-f 20
now i am pretty sure this yoke is the same used on hantarex mtc900,mtc9000,early polo1,intervideo and all early korteks
if anyone knows any info or links please let me know otherwise i will have to wait until monday

Hi Grant, I donot have the specifics on that tube, but here are some typical values, the first numbers after "Yes"  is Horizontal Inductance, the Horizontal resistance, next vertical
You can use them as typical design values- problemis Kortek, did not always follow "good design", Hope it helps
