Super Auction - Milwaukee, WI - 11/11/06

<< < (7/10) > >>

MYX:
Hey Angry Radish, could you put those prices up on the auction section of the WIKI. If you are not up on WIKI, I'll do it for you. Did you by chance write down descriptions as to quality of the machines. From Drews remarks, sounds like there was some termite heaven there. Pix?

Was it specifically a MAME machine. Many times you will see them marked as Multicade and stuff like that. Saint saw one machine that was being sold by a guy selling "a custom front end". Saint knows the guy who wrote it. I went to get a picture of it, but it was turned off by that point.

kelemvor:
They had Marquees and Side Art all over the place with MAME written all over it.  ANd when they started those items they said "4450 games!"

Man, sorry I missed this one.  :hissy:
(Had some family obligations to tend to)

I was asking around about the generic black MAME machine at the last auction. I guess some guy and his kid build one for every auction, and it always sells around that same price.
($800-900)  What was the $2000 one like? It wasn't in a Tron cabnet was it?

Angry_Radish:
Yup, in a tron cabinet, ahhh! I had to do a double take.
Both had to be from the same guy, both were running mamewah as the frontend, looked exactly the same front end-wise

I didn't get a chance to do any descriptions, though there were a few that I remember quite well, I'll edit in the ones I can remember.
