Really weird Windows keyboard issue

(1/2) > >>

NightGod:
So, my I-PAC (which has about 20 hours use on it) was working perfectly yesterday, but today, when I press a button that has Tab assigned to it, it 'sticks' (the light stays lit up in the WinPAC panel assignment screen). I've tried using 2 different microswitches, two seperate buttons and even tried assigning Tab to another button entirely and it still does the same thing.

Anyone with any ideas on fixing this?

Of course, I have company coming over today, so it would pick now to screw up  ::)

OK, a bit more testing, it's actually not a I-PAC problem, the Tab key seems to 'stick' even using a regular keyboard-anyone seen anything like it before?

(topic changed to reflect new info)

BobA:
Sounds like a variation on windows sticky keys.  Usually only for shift ctrl alt and windows key but maybe you have reassigned some of your keys.  Make sure the option is off in the accessabilities options.

NightGod:
Ah, should have mentioned that, it was the first thing I disabled when I installed Windows on this box, but just to be sure, I just went and enabled it, then disabled it. Tab still being sticky.

Anyone else got any possiblities before I throw this mobo through a chipper? LOL.

postalp123:
This does happen, dont worry about it, although in the I-Pac software it shows it as sticking, in the actual MAME shell it doesn't affect anything.

leapinlew:
can you remap that slot on the ipac to be another key instead of the tab key? Then remap windows and see if it still does that?
