Too much bezel, not enough monitor

(1/4) > >>

Gambit:
I used a 19" flat panel display for my standup.

It doesn't look bad, just not quite right.  There is about 4.5 inches of empty space on each side of the monitor.  Its not too small when you're playing, just looks a bit off when you stand back and look at the machine as a whole.

Can you think of anything to do that might minimize that open area somewhat?  Do you think graphics of some sort for a bezel?

For my bezel I used foam board to stiffen it, then painted black plexiglass over the foam board.  Looks great, nice and shiny.

NightGod:
Dark colored glass/plexi will do wonders to hide that blank space.

post a pic... I'd recommend a nice graphic, but not a whole buch of pictures just to fill space. That would also depend though on what your cabinet looks like.

A 21" monitor?

Gambit:
Here is my finished cabinet.  Complete with too tiny flat panel LCD monitor. The weird stuff you see in the glass is reflection.
