Aliens arcade game in Boston, MA - *Not Mine*
ChadTower:
It's a Dynamo.
It should fit easily into an Explorer. I've moved Dynamos in much smaller station wagons.

Does anyone know the dimensions of the cabinet? I want to ensure it fits, laid down, into the back of my Ford Explorer before I bother to borrow a pick-up.
This is a conversion, isn't it? It doesn't look like the KLOV picture of the 1990 Konami cab. Worth a restore?

Out of curiosity...and it certainly is understandable if you do not wish to say, but i am curious as to how much you got it for.
I had offered $175 pretty much right after it was posted on CL. I know of 2 other bids for it ,one way over mine and one just about the same . I'm pretty sure Chad threw in an offer.
None of us ever heard back (Chad?)
Unfortunatley for me, I have been using my work e-mail and it gets filtered out as spam so they probably never got my offer anyway.
ChadTower:
I offered to haul it away for her. Didn't offer cash but did offer to be there the next day with a truck from very closeby.
ElGwako:
LOL, I'm sure a good # of the 14+ that replied offered the same. At least for us it was literally down the road. I always forget to think of the amount of gas $$ it takes to pick some of these up when i maker an offer.

Sorry for the late response. Been a crazy week (the newest Black Tuesday from MSFT was a doozy).
I picked up the machine tonight. It's a pretty tired cabinet and the game itself sucks. But it has leaf switches and buttons, a good display, and decent bones. I think it'll clean up OK and I'll very likely turn it into something else. I've still got much to learn about these things.
Turns out that the seller is a "he" and not a "she" as I thought. Nice guy. I think he took the first offer he got but I didn't confirm that fact. I offered him a small cash amount but he asked me take it for free. This was odd given that he indicated that there was great interest in it. I think he just wanted it gone (not unlike what I think my wife is feeling right now) and didn't care about taking money for it.
Heavy as sh*t. I think I busted a vessel carting it out of his basement. Anyway, I like to think it went to a good home.
