You are assuming that he had a point. Maybe it was just recreation. (Remaining 30 discussions not cited ... this was the funniest)

You should be careful what you post in PA ... a bunch of that material came from here.

Cheers.

I simply must know whats silly about giraffes. You criticize Gods work now too?  >:D

not god's work, evolution and male fighting between giraffes is what caused the long necks
long necks look silly, as do overly tall people lol..

Couple points:

* Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
* If you enjoy these kinds of rambling rants - visit Maddox at the Best Page in the Universe
* If you build one of these cabinets... you know the costs can force you to compromise. In the case of arcade paradise, you can read his thoughts on why he did what he did and what he learned from it
* Who knows if there were limitations involved. For example, if the guy who built Ms. Stacie was 13, had no job and 100 bucks to build a cabinet.
I read this a while back when it first came out. If you don't take it too serious (which you shouldn't), it's kind of funny. Overall, I think some people are afraid to publish their work for fear of being featured as a 'what not to do' kind of cabinet, when the truth is the arcade community is some of the nicest folks I've run into online.

No one SHOULD care what others think.. but I'm sure they do
Like I said, there's nothing wrong with building your own arcade machine with limitations and a budget and whatever makes YOU have fun.. but if you know it's gonna look silly to other people, maybe not a good idea to post it

Project Anouncements

Interestingly (or not), at least some of those cabs and/or their builders are Mamey winners.

It is funny, though.

Cheers.

I love the caption on the first one

"CLEAR THE RUNWAY. PAC-MATT IS TAKING THE F*** OFF!!"
