Rock 'n Ride Motion Simulator and Alien 3 game/parts 4 Sale (NW suburbs, IL)

<< < (2/2)

codeena:
Hi,

You plug in a gameport device into the Rock 'n Ride. Then you plug in the Rock 'n Ride into your PC's gameport. When you move your flightstick, yoke, wheel, etc, the air-compressor moves the chair. You mount a monitor onto a base and you can also mount your joystick on the arm. It moves back/forward/left/right varying degrees, depending on how much you move your joy. There is a switch that allows you to reverse axis (for those who want to go back when you pull back on the joy, etc.). There is also a digital/analog option.

I think that it's awesome and works great, especially for flight games. It does make noise, as any motion sim does. Basically, all the sounds come from the air-compressor. So, if you're familiar with that sound, you'll know how it sounds.

Unfortunately, I don't have the space inside my house--it's been sitting in my garage unused for over 2 years!

I will try to get some pics up asap, but you can Google it and see what comes up (I just found one pic, but don't want to steal it). Mine is a black seat with silver stand/arm.

Thanks for your interest!

I didn't ask how it works, I asked how well it works.

Hi, I mentioned that it works great (2nd paragraph), but just to be certain, I would have to hook it back up to double check since I havent used it for a long time.

how much for the chair and will you ship

I'm thinking around $550 obo, which is 1/2 price of new. Unfortunately, I'd rather not ship it (unless the price is right). I think that it'd have to ship via freight because of it's size.

Thanks for your interest!
