MAMEWAH and System Files
« on: July 02, 2006, 01:45:04 am »
I just installed a new HDD and reloaded XP.
I've attempted to install the SYstem files required for MAMEWAH, but I got a message that says:
vbrun60.exe is not recognized as an internal or external command.
and my installation failed.

I also tried: run\ regsvr32 paintx.dll
and that failed too: paintx.dll module could not be found.

what am I missing?

thanks, mptech

Your PATH.

Try specifically saying where each file is.

That made sense.  What I realized was that in re-building my PC, I didn't re-install WinZip.  (Dohhhh,  :-X)
SO, I installed WinZip, unzipped the System Files executed setup again, and bingo. Worked like a charm!

thanks
