2006 token slogan poll closed*** Pre-Order yours now ***

Havok:
My comments were not directed at any one person - sorry if I came off sounding like a jerk. I think that slogan sounds cool, even if not from a "quote" origin of a arcade\console game: I like the ideal that we've "got your game."

I'll be buying the tokens no matter what slogans are on it: I'm hooked, and you'll never see me anywhere near those places for my arcade "addiction!"

 ;D

Yup. Has NO nostalgic undertones to it at all. I felt that the point of the love of all this 80's stuff was exactly that, memories of our kidhood.

Now in 20 years, I may vote on the All yer games... slogan, as it has aged and I have settled into the newness of it. ;)

quarterback:
Sigh. I apogize.  I tried to hit reply but hit modify and mangled your post. I did not mean to.  QB please repost this if I haven't managed to restore this post to it's original state.

No ---Cleveland steamer---.

When saint weighs into this thread only because he personally doesn't like the 2nd place slogan and then suggests that Santoro should just use the vote as "a guide" so the 2nd place slogan doesn't win, then I'm not sure what the point is.

saint:
Here's what I meant to post:

You know, this really ticks me off. I purposely don't get involved in discussions like this so as to not be perceived as trying to influence it, and the one time I do chime in with what is only my personal opinion I get dumped on for it.

This is entirely Santoro's show. He'll do whatever he deems fit. Anything I've said is only my opinion and should not be perceived as having any kind of official influence. If it wouldn't bring up cries of revisionism or censorship I'd just delete my comments altogether.

Feh.

saint:
Can I point out by the way that a runoff of the top 3 slogans would include the "All your games" slogan since it's in second place?

Nothing irritates me more than being accused of censorship...

* saint goes and mellows out now.
