How does a monitor get screen burn?  And can it be prevented?

What should I use to wipe the cab down?

Any house keeping tips just in genral?

Windex on glass, just dust the rest.  If you need to clean smoke or something off of an older cabinet, I just bust out the windex on that too.  I've never had any problem with it but YMMV.

The air compressor is your friend. Open your cabinet every once in a while and blow out all the dust. Especially around fans, where dust will clog things and make it all run hotter. Open the PC too and blow it out (if the PC is in a case). This should probably be done about every six months (more often depending on the environment and use), though it's really more of an annual thing for me.
