WTB: Preferably Complete Cabinet in the North NJ/Metro NYC Area

(1/2) > >>

Xynie:
I put up a post similar to this back in November looking for a new mame cabinet...  I moved to the Northern NJ/ NYC metro area late last year.  During my move, I was forced to sell my cabinet by the wife, with the promise that I could get a new cab when we got settled.  We didn't think we could lug it across the country successfully, so in the end, I sold the cab and control panel for what I paid for it, and I kept the computer and monitor... so it was a wash.

Anyways, I am looking for a new cab.  I think I am just going to buy one this time instead of building, because honestly, I am not that talented.  My cuts were horrible and in the end, it looked bad bad bad :)

So.  Before I hit up the volume manufacturers such as Slikstik or Dream Machines, is anyone selling a Cabinet?

Xynie,
You might know this already, but SlikStik is in Northern NJ (Nutley), so you could save shipping costs by picking it up if you end up going with them.

As just suggested, Mark of www.basementarcade.com is also a good source.  That's who I got my empty cab from.   ;D

Thanks guys.  I spoke to the SlikStik guys a while back, they had said I could pickup directly to save on shipping.  I just figured I would see what else is out here :)

SNAAKE:
go with slik stik. I have seen one of those cabinets in person they are very professionally cut with CNC router and everything. this is much better than buying a used cabinet and trying to restore. I personally am not a fan of restoring old beatup cabinets..I'd rather build or buy a new one instead !
